Step 1: Sign Up!
Sign up to Create a shop
Visit www.oppaly.com and click on Register Page. Enter your credentials as requested. Check the bottom most box to confirm that you agree with our terms and conditions (click on the terms and conditions link to read them) and click “Create Account.”
Step 2: Name Your Shop
Shop Name
Enter the name of your shop as you want it to appear on your website. If your shop has one name e.g demo, your website will be demo.oppaly.com. If it has two names, such as “demo shop”, your website will be demo-shop.oppaly.com. Click Continue.
Step 3: Create a Shop
Shop Details
Fill in your shop credentials. These include: Shop name e.g Demo Shop Shop description e.g Specialists in imported utensils. Business Phone number – this is the number clients will be using to reach you. Will also be receiving texts on orders made. Shop Logo and Shop Banner For shop logo and shop banner, kindly use high quality but small to medium size pictures. Click Submit.
Shop Theme
Select a theme from the ones provided.
Categories, Sub-Categories and Products
Create products and its categories
Click on Products. From the drop-down menu, select “Create Products and Category.” Enter Category e.g Shoes, then Sub-category e.g Women Shoes or Baby Shoes. Enter Product Details: Name e.g Black Male Classic Boots Description e.g A Stylish shoe built for a classic man. Features include clear texture, strong grip, non-slip, and wear resistant. Has a lightweight rubber sole for an elegant, stylish and simple finish. Also, state the sizes and colors available or any other suitable parameter for your product. Note: Give the best and accurate description for your products as this will help the buyer decide whether to buy the product or not. Price: State the price of the product. While doing this, consider the 3% commission on every product. Stock: Indicate the number of products in stock. Image: Choose one main image for the product and three more for the same product. Click Submit. You can continue adding more products for the same category/sub-category by clicking on “Next: Add Product.” To add more products to already created categories and sub-categories, click on “Add Products” under the drop down menu. For this, you will choose the category and sub-category of the product at the Category and Sub-Category drop-down menus. Add images and click “Submit.” You can view, edit and delete your products by clicking on “View All Products.” Click on Categories to view all your categories and sub-categories. After adding a couple of products, you can view how your shops looks like from a customer’s side by clicking on the Home Icon at the top right side of your dashboard your computer or phone.
Delivery
Create delivery location for your customers
Set your delivery locations, price, and delivery time. You can enter as many locations as you can. *Customers can only order from the listed locations e.g CBD, Ksh. 0, 2hrs; Nairobi Area, Ksh. 300, 3hrs; Thika Road, Ksh. 200, 3hrs etc. If your shop is not based in Nairobi, you can also sell. Example, if you based in Mombasa or Meru, your locations could be: e.g Bamburi, Ksh. 200, 2hrs; Nyali, Ksh. 100, 2hrs, Tudor, Ksh. 0, 1hr, Changamwe, Ksh. 200, 3hrs etc. Meru Town, Ksh. 0, 2hrs; Makutano, Ksh. 100, 2hrs; Embu Town, Ksh. 300, 6hrs; Isiolo, Ksh. 400, 2days etc.
